Blowers and exhaust fans

Blowers are used to introduce air into the furnace in central heating boilers, both those with a feeder and charging ones.

The task of the blower, controlled by the controller, is to regulate the combustion of fuel, to facilitate firing up the furnace and to introduce air.

The blower ensures effective combustion and proper ventilation - if the air supply is insufficient, the combustion process will be inadequate, and incorrectly selected blower operating parameters will result in the fuel not burning. If too much air is supplied, the heat will escape through the chimney. Thanks to the blower, this supply is optimized.

In order for the air supply process to run properly, the blower should be matched to the power of the furnace.

Exhaust fans are a group of products used in chimney hoods. Their primary task is to support and improve the chimney draught. In addition, exhaust fans help flue gases escape from the boiler, regulate the amount of air in the boiler, and prevent smoke from entering the boiler room during firing up. The available fans include:

built-in fans,
ready form of the chimney fan mounted on the boiler flue.

Some exhaust fans can also be used to ventilate rooms by extracting air from buildings. However, it should be remembered that the chimney draft should be measured before buying a boiler.
