Pellet boilers
Eco-friendly boilers with fuel feeders - for burning pellets
PellPal boilers are the most modern boilers on the market that enable pellet combustion. Pellet is currently the most ecological fuel on the market. The specially designed QPELL feeder enables maintenance-free fuel combustion, and the controller used will optimize the process of pellet consumption, the process of feeding and maintaining the optimal temperature. PellPal boilers are ecological and have all the certificates, they meet the PN-EN 303-5 standard. They are made of high-quality, certified boiler sheet with a thickness of 5 mm. The entire body and water jackets of the boiler are made of this sheet.
Wood boilers
Eco-friendly boilers with a cast iron grate - for burning wood
Efficient, easy to use and robust. This is how PellPall D eco-friendly wood-fired boilers are presented, which can be successfully used to heat utility water and rooms in the household. Thanks to the well-thought-out construction and the use of the most modern materials, the devices guarantee a constant level of heat supplied for many hours - however, this will depend on the selected power of the PellPall D boiler, construction and conditions prevailing in a given building. The combustion chamber is distinguished by a special cast iron grate, which is used to place logs in it, which is in accordance with the latest anti-smog and ecological regulations of the European Union.
Environmentally friendly PellPall D wood-fired boilers are characterized by high thermal efficiency, low level of emissivity of dust suspended in the air, as well as high energy class. In addition, the presented heating device meets the assumptions of the EcoDesign project, which relate to energy and emission requirements for devices operating in a central heating system. In addition, depending on the individual preferences of the user, the devices can work in an open or closed system. In the first system, it is enough to use an open expansion vessel, while in the second system, it will be necessary to purchase elements protecting the selected device against pressure surges and high temperature.
The construction of eco-friendly wood-fired PellPall boilers consists of 5 mm, the highest quality P265GH boiler sheet with a negligible carbon content. Thanks to this, the devices are resistant to long hours of operation in conditions with an increased degree of heat and high pressure. The material is not susceptible to any changes in its structure, therefore it is not subject to cracking, relaxation or thermal fatigue even at a temperature of several hundred degrees, which guarantees continuous operation and long service life. Buffers
Accumulation tanks for central heating boilers
Buffer tanks, otherwise known as heat accumulators, accumulation tanks or colloquially buffers, are adapted to store only inert neutral liquids, i.e. treated and demineralized boiler water. They can cooperate with various heat sources in central heating systems, such as: solid fuel boilers, fireplaces with a water jacket, heat pumps, solar systems, etc. - only as heat accumulators.
Accumulation tanks are designed to store periodic excess energy in the event of fluctuating demand for heat for heating purposes. The use of the tank makes full use of the heat generated in the combustion process and reduces fuel consumption compared to the system without the tank.
The heat energy generated in the boiler is transferred via the heating medium to the insulated accumulation tank. It can be used later as the heat demand for the heating system increases. Thanks to the use of heat buffers, the energy stored in the tank can be consumed by the heating system for several hours.
Accessories and spare parts
Accessories for PellPal boilers for pellets and PellPal D for wood
PellPal boilers, both in the version with pellet feeders as well as boilers burning wood on a cast iron grate, are equipped as standard with accessories that ensure their proper operation and guarantee the correct course of the heating process. In addition, the standard equipment can be replaced by, for example, in the case of the PellPal PID Pellet controller, a controller with a color touch screen. Boilers with automatic fuel feeders are also available in such versions. In addition, the heating set can be extended with other accessories. Below we present equipment and accessories for PellPal® boilers.
Boiler feeders
Steel or cast iron feeders are an essential component of ecological and economical central heating boilers. for pellets or for eco-pea coal. Choosing the right feeder will translate into economical and comfortable use of the boiler. The most common feeders in modern boilers are screw feeders.
The purpose of screw feeders is to deliver fuel (e.g. eco-pea coal or pellets) from the fuel tank directly to the furnace in the boiler. Thanks to the use of a screw feeder, the fuel is fed automatically, evenly and regularly, which significantly improves the comfort of the boiler operation.
Solid fuel feeders consist of several components, each of which plays an extremely important function.
A gear motor with an electric motor drives a screw (screw, auger) placed in the feeder pipe, which feeds solid fuel from the tank straight to the retort. The operation of the feeder, i.e. the transfer of fuel, is controlled by sensors on a programmable controller. Thanks to this, we can be sure that the right amount of fuel reaches the furnace in a given time. This saves time and does not require constant control of the amount of fuel transferred to the furnace. In the furnace chamber there are also a ring and a cast-iron ring, thanks to which the right amount of air is supplied to the place of combustion.
The combustion process is a complex process and, in addition to generating heat, other combustion products (gases, soot, vapors) are also produced, which should burn out in the combustion chamber. In order for the combustion process to run more ecologically and economically, a deflector is installed above the furnace, whose task is to break the flame in the boiler chamber so that it does not directly hit/hit the water jacket of the exchanger, burns fuel particles and maintains heat.
The combination of these components results in full use of fuel calorific value and comfortable, safe and economical use of the boiler with a feeder.
Controllers, room panels, thermostats
Drivers are otherwise control devices. Their task is to control the components connected to the furnace and control their operation.
The controller works based on sensors that are responsible for reading a given parameter, e.g. temperature. The programmed controller is responsible for regulating and maintaining the set temperature on the stove, it can increase or decrease the fan speed in the blower, thanks to which the amount of air supplied increases or decreases, which directly affects the entire combustion process - its rate and temperature. It performs the operation of the feeder, pumps connected to central heating systems, e.g. heating circuit, domestic hot water, circulation. It can also change the position of the mixing valve through the drive (actuator), if the system has it. In the case of a regulator for a boiler in which pellets are burned, the function of firing up the boiler by an igniter is also used, which is installed at the burner dedicated to this type of fuel.
These devices play an important role in controlling and managing the combustion process, generating heat, and transferring and distributing it. In addition, they are responsible for the selection and control of the appropriate parameters of economic and ecological combustion. The controller facilitates boiler control and facilitates work with the heating system installed in the house.
Controllers for central heating furnaces enable both management of the heat generation process and its distribution in the heating system. Their main function is to select individual parameters in such a way as to enable economical combustion and at the same time provide users with thermal comfort at a certain level. Without controllers for furnaces, it is difficult to even imagine controlling the heating of a house or building.
Depending on the model, controllers for furnaces can manage the boiler in a basic scope (e.g. simple controllers for solid fuel boilers managing only the pump and fan), as well as multifunctional controllers for central heating boilers that allow you to control the temperature at home even via the Internet .
All furnace controllers have central heating pump control functions. and a fan. By increasing or decreasing the fan speed, a larger or smaller amount of air is supplied to the boiler, which affects the rate of combustion (and thus - the temperature). The temperature is controlled by means of a programmer that collects data from the sensor (boiler temperature controllers cooperate with thermostats placed, for example, in the room). The boiler cooperating with the furnace controller works more economically and economically, which translates into lower fuel consumption.
In turn, control panels are devices that allow remote work with the controller connected to the central heating furnace. Thanks to such a panel, you can successfully control the temperature in the house (room thermostat) or the temperature of the boiler and its parameters. Modern control panels are aesthetic and do not affect the appearance of the rooms, while guaranteeing control over the heating process and the ability to quickly react to any irregularities.
